They recently sent a box called the Mary Kay Glam Vox Box.
Wow. the box was chockful of amazing goodies-Translucent powder and brush, blush, gel eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipgloss and mascara. Every thing you need to refresh you r make-up pallette.
I don't have a lot of experience with Mary Kay products-the last time I tried them was probably 10 years ago for a wedding I was required to wear MK makeup in.
Until I got this kit, I thought MK products were a bit out-dated, boy was I wrong.
Of all the products in the kit, the translucent powder was my favorite. I wear heavier foundation in the winter, lighter in the summer when I have a tan. This powder is perfect for either season and actually sets your make-up. I will definitely be purchasing more of this wonder product when I run out.
This mascara was great, as was the blush-comparable to my MAC and Sephora brand products I normally use.
The only things that let me down were the lipgloss-only because the shade was wrong for me (a bright red) and the gel eyeliner. I had a hard time applying the eyeliner and it smudged terribly, so I'll be sticking to my Maybelline liquid line that I've been using for years. :)
All in all, I was pleased with the products I received-this is definitely not your grandma's Mary Kay. :)
